The author of Hebrews draws our attention to an incredible reality: "Jesus [is] the pioneer and perfecter of our faith" (Hebrews 12.2). Jesus is constantly at work moving us to take on his character and life. And as we were reminded in service this weekend, becoming like Jesus is not a one-time, static action—it's a process of movement that takes course over our whole lives.
